Reiki works wonderfully to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and enter a theta brain wave state. If you are looking for more than relaxation, reiki has been shown in multiple clinical studies to be more effective than the placebo in reducing pain and anxiety (McManus 2017). Research shows that reiki is an excellent complimentary treatment for chronic pain and post-operative recovery, which is why many hospitals now offer reiki (sometimes referred to as “healing touch”) to patients. On a metaphysical level, reiki can also help show us where chakra imbalances lie and help bring chakras back into alignment.

Distance Reiki:
30-minute sessions are $45 and 60-minute sessions are $80. I will conduct the session over online video conferencing with you present on camera or on my own and connect with you over email with any information I may have after the session, your choice.

What a typical 60-minute distance Reiki session looks like:

• We will spend the first 5-10 minutes discussing your goals for the session.
• I will spend 30-45 minutes conducting energy work by invoking the distance symbol to connect with your energy, assess your energetic field, and send reiki to you distantly.
• After the energy work has concluded, we will spend 5-10 minutes discussing how the reiki session felt for you and any suggestions I might have.

Private yoga classes are a great way to correct alignment issues, find modifications that work for you, or enjoy a completely customized class catered to your goals. I can lead private classes in various yoga styles and will include guided breath work and meditation depending on the goals you desire to achieve from your yoga practice. Privates work best either 1:1 or in small groups.
