The Wisdom I’ve Gained from Ten Yoga Poses

  1. Child’s Pose- Sometimes, you need to slow down and fill your cup to serve others better.
  2. Low Lunge- This pose teaches that you can create space even in the face of challenges. It will take effort, but it is possible.
  3. Warrior II- A reminder that you survived all you have been through in the past, you stand grounded in the present, and you will survive whatever the future holds.
  4. Bird of Paradise- When you have patience and trust in the process, you can arrive at an incredible result.
  5. Half Moon- A pose that illustrates how you need to exercise balance to reach your full potential.
  6. Dancer- Inviting creativity can allow us the opportunity to bring about excellence within the structure of our lives.
  7. Camel- It showcases that when we become vulnerable, we open ourselves up to the opportunity to expand in unimaginable ways.
  8. Restorative Fish- Prompts us to go into the world with an open heart.
  9. Legs up the Wall- A new perspective, even upside-down, may be all you need to turn an unfortunate experience into a meaningful gift.
  10. Savasana- Surrender. Holding on can prevent us from making space for something better.
